Yesterday we saw superb performance by Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park. That was the night of the Spurs, a night which Everton fans will not forget soon. Tottenham trashed them with 2:6 and overplayed them in every aspect of the game.

Everton coach Marco Silva picked following players: Pickford - Coleman, Zouma, Keane Digne - Andre Gomes, Davies - Walcott,Sigurdsson,Richarlison - Calvert Lewin. Formation 4-2-3-1.

Genius from White Heart Lane Mauricio Pochettino picked up same formation 4-2-3-1. Lloris-Trippier,Alderweireld,Sanchez,Davies-Sissoko,Winks-Son,Alli,Eriksen-Kane

First thrill came in 20. minute when Kane fired up free kick little wide of goal. After few minutes Everton lead 1:0. Sanchez tried to clear situation with head but just to Everton player who passed to Sigurdsson who gave the ball left to Calvert Lewin who made low pass near Trippier where Walcott was faster than Alderweired and scored for 1:0 for Everton.

Spurs did not surrender after that, H.Kane fired up new free kick, but this time just over the crossbar. Lovely it's a pity it was not a goal. In 23. minute Everton scored second goal, but referee disallowed it because of foul made by eventual scorer Calvert Lewin who pushed Sanchez in penalty box before scoring with head. His smile after was sign of confession that he did that and that referee was right. After this accident Spurs started to march in.

27.min Eriksen passed to Kane who sent long ball toward Son. Digne from Everton was in control of the ball, but Pickford came out of penalty box and those two crashed one in another in bizarre way and fell to the ground. That was present which Son did not refuse. He took the ball and from not so good position and angle from 16 m fired up straight in the net for 1:1!

31. minute Son passed to Ali, he made pass to Kane who shoot just wide of goal. It looked that he had no luck to score but things will change soon.

35. minute Alderweired made header toward Sisoko, then nice one two between Sisoko and Alli who passed to Son. Son shot from askance, Pickford deflected the ball. Kane was unlucky again and the ball passed near him, but Delle Ali runs as a train in penalty box and fired up a missile to the net for 1:2!

42. minue Trippier made good free kick, the ball hit the post, Picford dived in attempt to save the net. The ball deflected finally to big master Hary Kane who scored easily at empty net for 1:3! Luck follows the brave!

This was big shock for Everton at the worst time just before half time.

47. minute Trippier made long ball toward Kane who made cross, Mina from Everton tried to clear with head, but the ball came to Eriksen who made wonderful volley from 20 meters and made result of 1:4 for Spurs.

When some tought Everton could come back in the game Tottenham made good counter attack. 61. minute nice one two Lamela-Erisken-Lamela who then passed to Son who run alone toward Pickford and scored for 2:5 through his legs. Humiliation was final, domination was absolute !

Son scored for 1:5

At this point Everton fans started to go out of Goodison Park not able to watch this humiliation any more, but they missed next goal a masterpeace of H.Kane.

In 74. minute Alderweird passed nice long ball from last line left to Davis who passed by first touch to Son on left wing. Son made low cross with left foot and Hary Kane dived to kick the ball which ended in the net for final result of 2:6 for Tottenham Hotspur!

H.Kane scored for Everton-Tottenham 2:6

Rest of the game was without big excitement. Helpless Everton made some rough play. Sissoko was almost badly injured, Alli was injured during the game too.

My view of the game was that Tottenham outplayed Everton in every aspect of football. They made Everton players look lost during most of the game. Son, Ali, Eriksen, Kane, Lamela did whatever they wanted. Pickford who is excellent goalkeeper made a big mistake before first goal. That goal maybe caused uncertainty in Everton, but I would not blame him for this heavy defeat. Fast counter attacks which Spurs are playing were unsolvable mysteries which lead to Everton's misery.

This is how it looks when the Spurs go marching in!
