Manchester City carries a new history in English football after the FA Cup 2018/2019 championship. The trophy was won after the Citizens party 6-0 over Watford in the final at Wembley on Sunday (05/19/2019) early morning hrs.

This success makes the Citizens the first team to win the treble winners in domestic competition after previously winning the English League and Premier League Cup.

In the match, City appeared to dominate since the beginning of the game. Their attacks smoothly flow from foot to foot. However, the solid defense of Watford made Pep Guardiola's squad difficult to find space to shoot.

The defending champions of the Premier League two consecutive seasons could only break the deadlock in the 26th minute. Apart from the offside trap, David Silva released an unstoppable kick from the Hornets keeper, Heurelho Gomes.

The 38th minute, Guardiola's troops again add to the coffers of goals through donations Raheem Sterling after continuing kick Gabriel Jesus. Two-goal advantage lasted until halftime.

Entering the second half, Guardiola played Kevin De Bruyne to replace Riyad Mahrez to add banging power. Not wasting the coach's opportunity, the Belgian national team player managed to rip Gomes in the 61st minute.

Seven minutes later, it was Jesus' turn to register his name on the scoreboard. Winning four goals did not make City's attack slack. The Citizens goal party closed Sterling's action through two goals in the 81st minute and 87.
