This is in line with its commitment to helping people live healthier, longer and better.

Through this competition it is expected that women's soccer in Indonesia will be more passionate and able to make achievements.

In the Women's Football Survey conducted by FIFA in 2014, AFC recorded a total of 6,327,700 female players. However, only 300,122 female players are officially registered with the AFC.

"Tottenham Hotspur and I am very happy to be able to support AIA in advancing women's football in Asia through the AIA Championship for Women. For two years working with AIA in Asia, I have seen many great talents in junior football.

"It's a great opportunity for me to also be able to help develop the ability of adult football players," said Anton Blackwood, from International Development Coach, Tottenham Hotspur.

"Female footballers have the same enthusiasm and interest as male footballers, even women's soccer teams play more tactical and have more solid teamwork. I am looking forward to being able to work together with AIA to develop the skills of young Indonesian women in football, in order to achieve their potential and dreams, "said Anton Blackwood, International Development Coach, Tottenham Hotspur," Anton said.
