Manchester United have a tough match ahead of them. The Red Devils face 5-time Europa League Champions, Sevilla in the semi-final of the competition. Moreover, the team is still unbeaten in the last 20 matches in the La Liga as well as the Europa League. Lets take a look at how Manchester United should line up against Sevilla in the semi-final.

Goalkeeper: Sergio Romero

Undoubtedly one of the best second choice keepers in the world, Romero has maintained 8 clean sheets in the Europa League this season. Moreover, the 33 year old veteran shot-stopper has conceded only twice. In a crucial game against Sevilla, Romero should be between the sticks.

Right-Back: Diogo Dalot

The 21 year old has a lot of potential but has not been given the chance to feature since the FA Cup win against Norwich. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has completely dominated the right-back position this season leaving Dalot to watch from the sidelines. A start against Sevilla along with a good performance would really give Dalot hope for a brighter future at Manchester United.

Left-Back: Brandon Williams

The 19 year old is slowly turning into a key figure at Old Trafford. In Luke Shaw’s absence, Williams has stepped up and has booked his place at Manchester United for years to come. If Williams is able to improve going forward, Sevilla will have a lot to deal with.

Centre-Back: Harry Maguire

This is a no brainer. The English international will start against Sevilla. The 27 year old has certainly helped Manchester United at the back. Having helped the team to 18 clean sheets this season, Maguire has become a key figure at the club for years to come.

Centre-Back: Eric Bailly

The Ivorian defender has been pivotal for the Red Devils in the Europa League campaign this season. However, the 26 year old has to compete against Lindelof if he is to feature in the squad on Monday.

Central Midfielder: Paul Pogba

Since the return of football, the Frenchman has been vital for Manchester United and will undoubtedly start against Sevilla. Partnering with Fernandes upfront, the duo can cause havoc in the Sevilla defence. However, the 27 year old should avoid playing too deep because if he loses the ball, United are open to a counterattack.

Central Midfielder: Bruno Fernandes

This was obviously the only option. Fernandes has certainly made his mark after helping United to qualify for the Champions League next season. He has also been pivotal for United in the Europa League campaign this season. There’s no chance that Solskjaer would drop him over McTominay, Fred or Matic for the game against Sevilla.

Attacking Midfielder: Juan Mata

Mata has been crucial for Manchester United in the Europa League this season. It’s a doubt whether he’ll start against Sevilla but the Spanish international has scored twice and provided 5 assists in 10 games in the Europa League. United would be much more efficient in attack if Mata is to start.

Right Winger: Mason Greenwood

The 18 year old has scored 5 goals in 6 starts in the Europa League this season and would easily fit into the team against Sevilla. Having made a wonderful breakthrough season, Greenwood would pair with Martial and Rashford to create a dangerous flurry of attacks and wreck havoc in the defence of Sevilla.

Centre-Forward: Anthony Martial

The 24 year old has already established himself as a very dangerous forward for Manchester United this season. The Frenchman has scored 4 goals in 5 starts in the Europa League this season and looks ready for the game on Monday.

Left Winger: Marcus Rashford

The 22 year old has not been the same since his injury but still has a lot of potential and will definitely start against Sevilla. Having scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in 3 starts in the Europa League, Rashford will need to step up in the semi-final.

My Predictions: Manchester United 2-0 Sevilla.
