Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro believes Cristiano Ronaldo is more deserving of this year's Ballon d'Or than Luka Modric. He feels Ronaldo has done a lot of extraordinary things over the past year, and deserves the award of the best player in the world once again.
Casemiro's opinion is different from his team mate, Isco, who supports Modric to win Bllon d'Or. Isco felt Modric had a major role in helping Madrid win the 2017/18 Champions League, also played an important role in bringing Croatia to the 2018 World Cup final.
Previously, Modric had won the Golden Ball World Cup award, as well as the UEFA Best Player of the Year. The two awards will be more complete if accompanied by the Ballon d'Or. But Casemiro considered Ronaldo to be even more intense throughout last season.

"I will give it (Ballon d'Or) to Cristiano Ronaldo because he has been the best throughout last season," Casemiro said from fourfourtwo.
Bad start for Cristiano Ronaldo
This season, Ronaldo underwent a new round in his career with Juventus. If Ronaldo was able to give his best performance with Juventus until the Balon d'Or was announced in December, it is likely that he will get the award back.
