I was trying to check on the calendar at my home when I noticed today was 30th of March, 2020. Seeing this draws my attention to April 30th, the date place for another hearing when it comes to the English premier league.
The virus is still at it infant stage, it is still spreading badly here. We can still feel the pressure or is the media trying to make more waves from it?
Am more concerned about safety of players at this stage. Matches won't be possible if lives of players are at stake, this is why players safety have to be considered first. I have been looking at the world chart and I noticed that footballers are not really affected by this virus, am really happy about that. With the current issue at hand, a lot keeps ringing in my head. One of it is that, what will be the fate of the English premier league if at the end of April 2020, we are still struggling with this pandemic? The more I asked, the more I became confused.
Not handling the trophy to Liverpool fc will be the worst decision ever made. But am still thinking at some point, if any issue arose, matches should be played indoor just like what other league body are doing.
