We all know how vital it is for Chelsea fc, Manchester United, Leicester city and partially, Wolverhampton fc to keep winning if any of them want to qualify for the champions league spot. This is where the league got interesting. Every match at this period matters, and to make it worse, we just have three matches to call the season to end.
Just yesterday, I was expecting Chelsea fc team to put up a wonderful performance against a side sitting on 6th position. Sheffield United knows that they have to cement their Europa league spot as they face strict competition from Arsenal fc and Wolverhampton fc. With that in their mind, they took up the opportunity as they feed in their best performance. While Chelsea fc were thinking they are going to ride on them, Sheffield United stole the show and it was their moment.
All Chelsea fc fans will be disappointed with what they saw. They were all expecting the match to go their way base on the fact that they know that their team is fighting for top 4 position. What a shame to see that they lost when we all thought that they will win. I was never expecting the said result I saw, just imagine, 3 nil. Assuming it was 1 nil that ended the game, we could have over looked it. This is questionable. How did Chelsea fc fall to this, so embarrassing and questioning as their champions league hope is under threat.
We have three matches to wrap the season off, Manchester United and Leicester city are currently putting up a chase to secure their own slot, they havent played their matches. If they do today and it ended up that they got their three point, it will see changes being made to the top 4 position as Chelsea fc will be dropping to 5th position. All Chelsea fc fans are really mad about their lost to Sheffield United and this wound won't be forgotten so easily.
