The essence of award in whatsoever thing that we are doing is to appreciate ones effort and also it acts as encouragement so that more effort can be put into whatsoever thing that we are doing. Since this is always put in place to appreciate anybody's ability, the competition level between various person will increase as this has given the competition or whatsoever the thing is more beauty. Award is not limited to soccer alone, it is important in all aspect of life. Take for instant, a CEO of a company can decide to at the end of every year appreciate his/her workers for their contribution towards the success of the business. The only way such avenue can be achieved is to give out award to those who did the company well.
When the above is done it gives room for other workers to improve since they will be looking for an avenue to be recognised by the company's too. This is just the beauty of what award does. Despite the happiness surrounding it, there is also some ups and down surrounding it. Many of such ends in hatred for whatsoever person that wins such award. I have seen numerous cases where at the end of such award the other counter part that thinks he/she deserve the award more better might nurse hatred for the person that wins it. This is where giving out award is dangerous.
I have seen many companies instead of giving award publicly to their workers, because of the unforseen circumstances that they are trying to avoid has decided to go for something more secret. I have seen somebody being presented award by his boss at the end of the year with strict warning. His boss told him to never in any way tell any of his colleagues about the award. The boss went ahead by putting a warning that if he tells them i.e his colleagues about the award he will be sacked. He only revealed this when he has retired from the company.
Many might want to ask why the CEO did that. Common sense shows that the CEO is trying to avoid any thing that will bring issues in his company. He knows if others are aware of this award it might create envy and jealousy between other workers and the person who wins the award. As a wise CEO he decided to avoid unforseen circumstances that might tear his company to pieces. This is the reason he decided to go low key. He is indeed wise with such act. He is doing this to save his business from issues and embarrassment along the line.
Back to what we have at hand, Lionel Messi as at yesterday won the biggest award when it comes to soccer and to wrap it up, he now holds the record for the person with the most award when it comes to the Ballon d'Or title. The other person following him is Cristiano Ronaldo and unfortunately, Lionel Messi makes it look easier. I am a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo but when it comes to celebration I love making sure that I celebrate with anybody and never put sentiment in place.
I saw some person lamenting that Lionel Messi didn't deserve the award. Observing from stat and base on how the voting was done we can see that with statistics it shows that Lionel Messi truly deserves it. One player that I might have loved to see winning the award is Robert Lewandowski. His performance despite his age is second to none. It is so painful holding to the fact that at the end of everything he was unable to defeat Lionel Messi.
The reason I am so concerned about Robert Lewandowski is that he is now aged and this look like his last chance to bagged such award. This is the more reason I was really pained because I knows that he is a legend who is nearing retirement stage. This could have meant a lot to him assuming he won it. Well, that didn't happen as Lionel Messi spoilt everything for him by getting crowned Ballon d'Or winner for the 7th time.
Congratulations to Lionel Messi on being crowned Ballon d'Or winner for the 7th time. This will go along way to meaning a lot to him and his entire family. This is indeed worth celebrating.
