There is one thing about soccer, the abiltity for there to be competition between two or more players makes it unique. Just take a look at the comparison between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo you will learn to see that the comparison has helped to shoot soccer to more ears. This is simply because it enables soccer to go mainstream. This type of competition will help to see all players trying to push out their best form whenever they have the privilege to perform.
Just recently we were all talking about Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus Turin, that drama didn't last much because Cristiano Ronaldo says he will be at Juventus Turin for some few time as he is not ready to make a move to any team that won't offers him more playing time. He said this because he knows that Paris Saint German were having interest in him and if he makes the move he might not get that playing time that he deserves and that might affect his career. To make it worse we all knows that both players are competing for the best player ever liveth, with this running through their mind you will see that none of them will want to retire before the other. They both want to make sure that they have more playing time so that they can have more records.
If you understand what I said above you will see that this is the reason none of them will want to be bench or the main reason why none of them wants to retires so soon. I am just waiting to see which player will even retires before the other one. This is really going to be an interesting moment for soccer as it will be one of the greatest decision to make. Another thing is that even though they don't want to retire willingly, age will play it part and they will be forced to retire. Let us just fold our hands as we watch out for how things will play.
Deviating from the Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi talk and venturing into what we have at hand you will see that Roberto Firmino just came back from holiday and with him leading the front during the Osasuna friendly match, he immediately showed us why he is that special player not to toil with. First of all I will use this opportunity to say congratulations to Jurgen Klopp and his team for rounding up the preseason matches in a good style. Despite our poor form during the pre season matches, we delivered during the last encounter in a grand style.
What I really love about todays encounter with Osasuna was that despite majority of our players like Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, James Milner, Van Dijk being benched you can see that our performance was top notch. You just have to see how those players that were given chances to perform took it well. This is one unique thing that I really love about the team. Jurgen Klopp did his work well and it was really awesome. This is why I said we should learn to trust in his judgement but never to rely in it all the time.
Now what baffles me was that despite the squad depth other players were able to defend their home because the match was played at Anfield and the performance of the players were top notch. Out of all the players available it was Roberto Firmino's presence that captured my heart. He was absent as he was still enjoying his leave not until he resumes training not long and when given the match to play our last match with a different team he delivered properly. Infact he stole the show as he was just too awesome. After seeing this amazing display from him I must confess that I was short of words. Remembered I talked about him and Diego Jota recently, and I also let us knows that it will be a difficult one for Jurgen Klopp to make the decision on whom he will be starting between the other when the English premier league started.
One thing is that Diego Jota also remind us that he is an amazing player and the future of Liverpool fc when others might have retired or departed the team. He record goal scoring in his last preseason match when being called upon. This really shows that both players have good potential and it will be a difficult one for Jurgen Klopp to choose between both two. I know Jurgen Klopp will still wants to give Roberto Firmino more playing time but any mistake or dull performance from him he should be ready to see Diego Jota coming up. This competition between both players will really bring competition into the team and seriousness will be born. This is why I love seeing competition like this in a team, it will help the team more better also.
Roberto Firmino lead the team along others players like Konate Ibrahim and despite the young team he delivered by making sure that we walked away with the three (3) none important point in the presence of the fans and the fans were all really happy following the result. For your information this will be our last Pre season match as we eventually prepares to face our rivals in the upcoming English premier league matches.
