We all know that the golden boot is used to reward players who have put in their best performance in scoring goals for their team. It can be for country or club. Now I will be talking about the English premier league while tomorrow it shall be the turn of the Spanish premier league.
Checking the English premier league, I was surprise to see Jermie Vardy topping the chart. Some times I keep wondering how Jamie Vardy keeps doing it every season. Every season this dude must be among the highest goal scorer list. Opening the table, I discovered he is setting at the top with 22 goal. This dude is so good but my own is that will he be able to carry out this form if bigger team calls him. I have seen greater players flop when they got to bigger team. Players like Lukaku, Victor Moses, Phillippe Coutinho, Iago Aspas, Danny Ings and lots more.
I know there are team out there waiting to get his signature, but they are still afraid of him not turning into a flop. But I can see that this dude is good player and he deserves a better club. I hope that big call comes to him someday.
So as we have it, the names are as follows;
i. Jamie Vardy is sitting at the top with 22 goals
ii. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is sitting on second position with 20 point.
iii. Mohamed Salah: The Liverpool fc forward is following James Verdy and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with 19 goals. He has been consistent when it comes to the highest goal scorer race. Last season he won it among other African players like Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
iv. Danny Ings: I never expected this man to be seating on this list. After he left Liverpool fc, I thought he wont be good for another clubs but just take a look of what he has turned into. He is just like Iago Aspas who couldnt perform well at Liverpool fc at all, take a look at his doing wonders in his club. Danny Ings is currently on 4th position with 18 goals.
v. Sergio Agüero; I was expecting this lad to be on top 2 position if not top three position but take a look at him, he is occupying 5th position with 16 position. Not a bad position, injury and age is telling on him at this moment. That is the major weakness he is having.
vi. Sadio Mane; Sadio Mane was among the last golden boot winner. He won it along side Mohammed Salah and Aubemeyang. He is currently on 6th position with 16 goals being scored so far. He wasn't on good form yet, I hope next season became great for him.
viii. On 7th position we have Raúl Jiménez. He has scored 15 goals already. He is a promising good attacker I have been eyeing so far.
Ix. Anthony Martial: This is one player I adore so much at Manchester united so far. He is so talented. I am waiting to see him perform wonders next season. He has managed to score 15 goals. Not bad for him at all.
Ix: Marcus Rashford: Another of Manchester United player that I have grown to love so much, he is so good with what he does. If he is on good form, he will destory any defence. Such a good and telented player.
X. Tammy Abraham; I was looking at the log and I was like why is there no Chelsea fc player on the list. Finally, we have Chelsea fc player on the list who has scored 14 goals this season alone. This dude came from no where and started doing wonders. I so much love him and he is using his height properly.
