Patrik Schick

Juventus and Sampdoria agreed on Schick transfer in the middle of June in 2017. The price for the footballer was 30 million euro. They had also agreed terms of personal contract with a talented Czech. However Schick failed the first medical examination because of heart problems. Juventus agreed to arrange a new physical examination for a 21-year-old attacker but it didn't work. The club decided to abandon the purchase of this football player.

Radamel Falcao

Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao was close to returning to Atletico but his health problems became a hindrance. The Telegraph reported that Radamel Falcao was to return on loan to Atletico on the last day of January. In this case Monaco would have ripped the lease from Chelsea and concluded such an agreement with Atletico. In the end the deal broke down due to the fact that Falcao did not pass a medical examination. In that season Falcao spent 9 matches for Chelsea and scored 1 goal.

Victor Valdes

Valdes' contract ran out in 2014 and he signed a pre-contract with Monaco. However he failed a medical check up because of an injury. It led to the transfer cancelling. Thus the Spanish goalkeeper became a free agent.

Andrey Arshavin

Andrey Arshavin failed his first medical check up at Arsenal because of the heart problems. But in 2009 Arsenal agreed to give Asrhavin the second chance and it was successful. The transfer was signed eight seconds left before the deadline.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy

Ruud Van Nistelrooy appeared in Manchester United in 2002 but his transfer could succeed a year earlier: the striker failed a medical check up.

PSV club President Harry Van Raay said, "He has recovered very well, better than even our doctor expected but, even when he is recovering well and the knee is stable, he does not seem able to do what the doctors of Manchester United feel is necessary to fulfil their medical tests."

Nevertheless the transfer was completed next year with a fee of £19 million.
