Atletico Madrid proved themselves to be a better side after securing 4:2 win in action-packed UEFA Super Cup final over rivals Real Madrid. Diego Costa took the super early lead for Rojiblancos after scoring stunning effort from narrowest angle and recorded the fastest goal in the history of competition. Real Madrid scored an equalizer on 27th minute as Gareth Bale produced delightful cross from the right flank straight to Karim Benzema. After the break Julen Lopetegui replaced Marco Asensio by Luka Mordic while Diego Simeone, who was forced to see the game from the stands after the ban picked up in Europa League clash against Arsenal, subbed Antoine Griezmann with Anjel Correa. On 63rd minute Real took the lead after Sergio Ramos cooly converted a penalty shot given after Juanfran’s handball. But 15 minutes Diego Costa smashed his second of the game. In the extra time Atletico looked more determined side and scored 2 stunning goals with the number of smart and vicious attacks. Great game, classy good win for Athleti!
