Manchester City secured hard-fought 2:1 comeback win against Champion League debutants Hoffenheim in the group stage clash. Opening goal of the game was scored only 43 seconds after the starting whistle when Ishak Belfodil shocked Citizens as he passed the ball through the legs of Ederson with ease. Visitors pushed forward to recover and equalized 8 minutes later when Sergio Aguero perfectly converted assist by David Silva. Later in the game Citizens created lots of chances but Hoffenheim’s defenders and especially goalkeeper Oliver Baumann were perfectly focused to deny all the threat. They did very well until the 87th minute when David Silva finally tricked Stefan Posch before firing home the winner. Yet another great performance by team leaders by EPL Champions.
