Gibraltar secured heroic close win against hosts Armenia in the UEFA Nations League clash which is their first-ever competitive win. The game itself has a strange sign for the visitors as officials of Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium turned on anthem of Liechtenstein instead of Gibraltar’s. Minnows scored their momentous goal on 50th minute thanks to penalty given after Leo Casciaro was fouled in the box. Joseph Chipolina with the cooly taken finish grabbed historical 3 points for his side, who was able to keep their sheets clean until the final whistle.
