Viking did well to brush aside Mjøndalen side in fruitful 1. divisjon clash. Visitors secured fruitful 4:2 win to overlap the opposition at the top of the league.

One of the goal was a joy to behold. On the 57th minute Viking defender sent the long ball forward the left wing. The ball was picked by teammate who did well to pull off the opposition’s defenders and then supplied striker Zymer Bytyqi with the key pass. Although the assist wasn’t perfect, Kosovo-born hit-man did beautifully well to find the net with purely Zlatan-esque back-heeled karate flick. Pure inspiration it was!

The win allowed Viking to attain the top spot of 1. divisjon with 58 points while Mjøndalen go second just one point away.

Bytyqi is a graduate of Norwegian Sandness Ulf football academy. Although we have 1 international cap for Kosovo, there’s still an option for him to join Norway national squad.
