Looks like Leicester City glory days all gone as club supporters doing catastrophically bad at crowdfunding for statue of their ex-manager Claudio Ranieri. Back in 2017, soon after Foxes' incredible 2016/16 EPL title win, two fans launched the campaign among supporters with the goal to produce and install a statue of Italian specialist who helped their beloved club to achieve the ultimate heights. Initiative was widely praised but since a year and held passed both enthusiasts managed to collect only £900 pounds of £10,000 required. No deadline set, but surely Foxes fans should done better.
- Claudio Ranieri was axed from Leicester in February 2017
- Nantes was the last club the 66-year-old managed to help French side secure 9th spot in the 2017/18 Ligue 1
