Man City prepared a special present for their ex-player Joe Hart ahead of his return to Etihad with Burnley squad on Saturday. To mark the gratitude for the 12 remarkable years that goalkeeper dedicated to the club, City officially renamed the training pitch ground after the player and unveiled a specially made mosaic plaque planted next to Hart pitch.

In return, Joe Hart expressed his gratitude to the club:

Having the goalkeeping pitch at the City Football Academy dedicated to me is a huge honour. Manchester City has been a huge part of my life and my career, and I’m immensely proud of what I and my teammates achieved in that period.

There have been some incredible goalkeeping legends throughout Manchester City’s history, and I feel privileged that the Club has chosen to recognise me amongst that number.
