Maurizio Sarri became the first-ever Chelsea manager to stay unbeaten in his first 9 consecutive games since the start of the season. Ironically the record was set in the clash against Manchester United led by ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who’s record been beaten. Indeed, Jose Mourinho was the Blues manager who remained unbeaten after first eight Premier League games in 2004. Later in 2008 the record was equalled by Felipe Scolari. But now the things has changed under reign of Sarri.
