Villarreal were lucky to earn a single point in away Europa League game against Spartak Moscow, although the Spanish side was dominating most of the game. Karl Toko Ekambi bagged the opener with a mighty shot straight into the top right corner, but hosts levelled the score from the penalty spot. In the second half Villarreal took the lead again with another stunning effort. I was Pablo Fornals who pierced Aleksandr Maximenko with furious shot. Spartak recovered from the shock late in the game and scored 2 goals in 4 minutes to take the lead on the 86th minute of the clash. But at the stoppage time Villarreal was awarded with fair penalty and Santi Cazorla converted into vital equalizer – 3:3.
