Newly-promoted Porto, errr sorry, Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed their decision to retire their No.1 shirt for the 2018/19 season in honor of their former goalkeeper Carl Ikeme. After 12-month battle against leukemia, 32-year-old keeper made decision to retire from professional football. To support brave man, Wolves opted against taking Ikeme’s shirt number so their new shot stopper Rui Patricio agreed to wear No.11 shirt instead. It is also reported that other keepers – Joe Ruddy and Will Norris picked up No. 21 and 31 respectively.
