The African Women's Nations Cup is fast approaching and the draws and fixtures are out. Now all the teams now know their fate.

Nigeria falls in Group B which consists of Kenya, South Africa, and Zambia. Our first match will be against South Africa in November 18th at Cape Coast stadium.

During qualifier, Kenya replaced Guinea due to their ban by CAF for fielding a player of another team. This is not the first or second time Guinea has been accused of fielding players of another team in their women's team and this time, this barbaric act actually deprived them of participating in 2018 Nations Cup.

During the qualifier, Kenya was in the same group with them and they busted them for fielding a Cameroonian in their team. This led to a protest and justice was served by CAF. For this reason, we will not be seeing Guinea participating in the Nations Cup.

These are the stars you should watch out for in the tournament.

  1. Asisat Oshoala
Gaelle Enganamouit
Francisca Ordega
Janine Van Wyk
Linda Motlhalo
Tabitha Chawinga

I predict Nigeria, south Africa, Ghana and Cameron to make it to the semi final. The top three finishers will secure automatic places at next year's Fifa Women's World Cup to be hosted in France.

Make sure you support the defending champion and the most successful team. Go Super Falcon 👏
