The Super Eagles of Nigeria have advanced to the elimination round to face the indomitable Lions of Cameroon, the defending champion on Saturday July 6 at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt
The Indomitable Lions secured their spot in the round of 16 after holding a goalless draw with Benin on Tuesday and are now in for a battle with the Super Eagles. If the Eagles had beaten Madagascar they would have be facing either Congo DR or Kenya or South Africa but failure to defeat them has put us in a battle with the Indomitable Lions who finished second position in group F
There has never been a time Nigeria and Cameroon will meet that the match will be tough battle. I've always known Nigeria Vs Cameroon match to be more or less a war. It's always an aggressive game and most times they even fight. Their rivalry in football is likened to that of Madrid and Barcelona
There's nothing really impressive about the performance of the Indomitable Lions so far, although they have the African best goal keeper while the Super Eagles on the other hand have also not performed impressively. I hope both teams work on their weaknesses and I hope to see another war match on Saturday 😁
The game is just too hard to predict as it's going to be the survival of the fittest
