Nigerian former assistant coach, Chukwuma Ago passed away on the 20th February 2019 after battling with a brief illness. The cause of his death is undisclosed till now. According to sources, he was only ill for barely two days before he gave up the ghost.

Agbo is a good coach who led the Super Sand Eagles to the second position at the 2018 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations (AFCON). He was the former head coach of Delta Force and Rangers.

After Delta Force lost to Bendel Insurance at the AFCON final, Agbo resigned as the head coach in a bid to gain promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Agbo was a disciplined Coach in local leagues who has coached several amateur and professional leagues and his remarkable success will always go down the memory lane of the Nigerian beech soccer.

Unfortunately, Agbo is supposed to lead the Eagles to the upcoming 10th edition of the 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup which will be holding in Paraguay but his death prevented him. Now the NFF will have to appoint a new coach to lead them through
