Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has undergone a successful operation on his knee following the injury he sustained during Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Brazil in a friendly played on Sunday, October 13

It has been confirmed that the Super Eagles goalkeeper who plays for Omonia will be out of football for at least six months for the injury to heal. This is something that is going to cause a setback to his career even though he will be getting stipends from FIFA during those moments.

Following his injury, Uzoho has now been replaced by Daniel Akpeyi by the Super Eagles coach till he will return from his six months injury

After undergoing a successful operation, Uzoho shared a photo of himself in the hospital on his Instagram page to show that he's now recuperating and he's indeed grateful for the success of the surgery
