Hiring and firing a coach is part of football body just that Mourinho's own has been making the headline for negative reasons. It could just be due to his ego and arrogant behaviour or because some people have some resentment towards the egoistic coach

Speculations had it that he might return back to his former club Inter Milan next season as they're willing to accept him back

I don't Mourinho has lost his respect as a coach, he only needs to improve his football strategies and adapt to football era changes and instead of sticking to the old style of football that bought him success in previous years.

Mourinho is still that very good coach who wants his players to keep playing the way he wants even though it was affecting the performance of the players.

Mourinho will probably have problem no matter which club he goes if he continues to be arrogant and adamant. He should be willing to adapt to chances and I see him performing so well in Inter Milan as speculated

In conclusion, I don't think he has lost his respect. He only needs some blend with the trend of football and put his ego aside and he will regain his glory as a coach
