There have been speculations that Messi might be leaving Barcelona after summer following a clause allowing him to leave for free this summer, and I have heard many football fans wanting him to leave Barcelona just to see if he will underperform or perform much better than Barcelona

I feel that Messi is going nowhere and he's going to end his career at Barcelona and even if he decides to leave, it doesn't change anything. It doesn't rule out the fact that he's one of the greatest players the world has ever produced.
There are some great players like Messi who also started and finished their careers in one club and made their mark there, so not all about moving out of his comfort zone to prove something, so
I don't think Messi has to prove anything to anybody by going to test himself in another club or league.

He has chosen to pay his allegiance to Barcelona and the landmark he has made will forever go down in the history of football and I celebrate him for that as one of his biggest fans
