Senegal thrashed the Super Eagles of Nigeria 1-0 in a friendly match in preparation to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations which is scheduled to commence in a few days time
Nigeria has played two friendly matches recently and have not been able to score a goal. The last friendly game against Zimbabwe ended in a 0-0 draw while the one against Senegal today also ended in 1-0
No hard feelings concerning this game cos it's just a friendly and an inconsequential game that was played behind closed door. Even though the match is not really important, this is just one of the signs that the Super Eagles of Nigeria really need to up their game at the AFCON starting soon or else what we are seeing in these friendly matches might come into manifestation
