The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been eliminated out of the on-going FIFA U-20 World Cup in a game that ended 2-1 against Senegal in the round of 16 today
This is one of the worst under 20 team Nigeria has ever assembled for an international tournament. It's so obvious the players were probably selected not by merit but by "man knows man" because there's no way both goalkeeper and the players would perform miserably on the pitch .
Nigerian football federation is riddled with corruption and that actually reflected in this game. Senegalese on the other hand were better off in terms of team work and technicality and they all look younger than Nigerian players.
Now they have been eliminated and can go back the board to make things right for the next tournament they will be participating
The right people should be chosen for competitions please!
