Sometimes I wonder why we here heartbreaking stories like this in some part of the world and this is why African football and violence are something you can't completely separate. It's either you see players beating up referees or you see two opponents fighting each other after a game loss.

A South African coach named Siphiwo 'Mawawa' Nyobo until his death happened to be the manager of Tornado FC, a third division club in South Africa met his death shortly after leaving the stadium on Saturday.

It was reported that some gunmen laid ambushed for the coach during a match on Saturday at North End stadium and it was reported that the gunmen opened fire and gunned down the coach.

The 68 year old coach was shot at the upper part of his body when these gunmen were shooting his both him and his vehicle after leaving the stadium. His driver sustained a lot of injuries having been shot also in the upper body and has been hospitalized

His club Tornado FC are in the third tier of South African football, and their most recent win came last weekend when they beat Future Tigers 4-1 in Uitenhage.

The culprits behind his assassination have not been found till date but series of investigation have been going on by the police.

The life of a good coach has just been taken as if it has no value nor blood. I hope these gunmen are caught and brought to book
