It seems Ronaldo's dream of winning the UEFA Champions League with his team Juventus is very unlikely this season considering how they were humbled and disgraced in the first leg of the round of 16 against Atletico Madrid last night.

Ronaldo played very well on the pitch and was the best Juventus player with 7.4 rating. He provided two key chances and had seven shots on target which never resulted into a goal. If not for the super save by Jan Oblak, one of those Ronaldo's shots on target could have resulted into a goal

This is the first time we will be seeing Ronaldo who used to destroy Atletico Madrid but has now become a subject of mockery of mockery and booing for not being able to save Juventus.

Juventus were heavily booed by Atletico Madrid fans but no other player reacted to the booing like Ronaldo. He responded with gestures reminding them that he's won UCL five times while Atletico can't boast of the trophy

The first leg has come and gone but Juventus really have a lot of work to do in order to qualify from the round of 16. They need to beat Atletico on handicap and also try to maintain a clean sheet because an away goal for Atletico will probably send them packing.

With the look of things, Ronaldo's dream of winning UCL with Juventus is now in disarray unless they're able to shock Atletico in the second leg which won't be easy against a defensive team like Atletico

What do you guys think?
