After many years the ex players of Super Eagles of Nigeria who played n the 90s and early 2000 have hung their boots, they finally reunite courtesy of the outgoing governor of Lagos State (Governor Ambode). A novelty match was played among the likes of Daniel Amokachi, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Taribo West, Finidi George and Julius Aghaghowa at Agege Stadium Lagos.
Not only Super Eagles ex players converged at the stadium for the novelty match, other African players also graced the occasion which marked the end of the tenure of the outgoing Governor of Lagos State
Most of the players were hot during their prime but now, most of them are now in their 50s. They made great team that we will never forget till date compared to the Super Eagles of today. Their reunion pulled many crowd as fans were excited to see these players on the pitch together again.
