Today is a very bad day for Madrid fans. After 2-1 win in the first leg that put Madrid at a safe position, it's a pity they have been eliminated today by Ajax for the first time since 2015. The reign of three year finally ended with humiliation.
The match still looks like a drama to me because I wasn't even expecting it. Who would have bet with his money or SCR that Ajax will thrash Madrid on 4 goals handicap? But we just saw that happened right in our eyes.
I heard some Madrid fans saying they wouldn't have lost if Sergio Ramos was in the game but I really doubt that. What I saw in the game was that Ajax was a better team.
Now, Ajax have successfully sent Madrid packing in an away match. Let me say this is the obituary of Madrid's dream of winning the Champions League this Season.
