The European Champions, Real Madrid will meet Serie A Champions in US on saturday in yet another pre season International Champions Cup match. Unfortunately Ronaldo will not be featuring in this match to play against his former team but this is still going to be an exciting match to watch. Juventus has played three pre season matches while Real Madrid have only played one.
Real Madrid
Most of their Worl Cup players did not start against Manchester United in their last match with Asensio, Isco and Kroos making appearances in the later part of the game while Carvajal and Navas didn't play at all.There is a strong possibility that all of them will start today.
The key players for Real Madrid in this encounter will be Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema. Who can forget the Champions League final when Gareth Bale scored twice against Liverpool, one of which included a breathtaking overhead goal!
Karim Benzema scored the lone goal against Manchester United and will be hoping to score one in this encounter.
Real Madrid were expected to come out winners in their previous encounter against Manchester United, but it was not to be as Manchester put 2 past them and Real could only manage one, however their major players are expected to start in this match and we might see a better game of football.
Juventus
Juventus started their US campaign with a win over MLS All Stars and have looked very good so far. They will be missing their most expensive player, Cristiano Ronaldo who has just joined the squad but wasn't a part of the training squad. They will also miss the services of Mandzukic and Mataudi as both of them featured in the World Cup final and are still resting.
The key players for Juventus in this encounter will be Pjanic and Favilli. Pjanic is a world class midfielder and has the capability to turn the game in just a matter of minutes.
Favilli scored twice against Bayern Munich and hit the net again against MLS All Stars. He has three goals so far in three matches and will be looking to add more to the tally.
Juventus have played three pre season matches and won all of them. They defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 and both the goals were scored by Favilli. The other two matches went into the penalties as both of them ended up 1-1. They however won both matches in penalty shoot-out's.
Match Prediction
I believe that Juventus have a better side compared to Real Madrid at the moment and they have also won all games of this tour so far, so I predict a score of 2-1 to Juventus. However there is a strong possibility of a tie with score reading of 1-1.
