Since the sacking of Jose Mourinho, Manchester United have been on a role winning all matches they played. Ole Gunnar has been able to lift the team and his tactics have reaped rewards for United. They will however face a tough challenge at Wembley as Spurs have been on a role for quite some time now. Barring a few bad losses, Spurs have looked brilliant throughout the season and they have been scoring plenty of goals lately. This contest promises to be very exciting and I can't wait to watch the two giants clash.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

The loss against Wolves at Wembley was their only loss in the last eight games. They have won three consecutive games after the defeat scoring 11 goals and haven't conceded a single goal in those games. Spurs came out victorious when they last played against Manchester United at Old Trafford. They are in very good form right now and they will be expecting to display their form against the confident United side as well.

Impact Players and Team News

Without a doubt, Harry Kane is their best player. After struggling during the start of the season, he is now back in for and has scored seven goals in last six matches. Along with Kane, Son Heung-Min will be another impact player for Spurs. Son will be playing his last match before heading to play in Asia Cup. He has seven goals in last seven matches. These two players will depend on Christian Erikson who has plenty of assists this season.

Tottenham looks to have a fully fit squad to choose from as likes of Eric Dier, Jan Vertonghen, Lucas Moura and Mousa Dembele are all fit to play. This will be a huge boost for the Spurs ahead of this important clash.

MANCHESTER UNITED

This is the first time in the season that Manchester United have won five matches in a row. It looks like the tactics of Ole Gunnar are working very well in favour of United. Pogba has been excellent since the sacking of Mourinho and looks to be in same form as he was in during the World Cup. United will however face the toughest team they played in the last five matches and it will be interesting to see how Ole Gunnar deals with it.

Impact Players and Team Form

Romelu Lukaku found it tough to score goals earlier in the season but now he is back in his goal scoring form and he has scored three times in the last three games. Paul Pogba will be another impact player for United along with Lukaku. After the sacking of Mourinho, Pogba has enjoyed a different role as more attacking player and he has succeeded by scoring plenty of goals since then. He scored a brace against both Bournemouth and Huddersfield.

Chris Smalling is out with a foot injury and probably he will be out for another week. Eric Bailly received a red card in the win against Bournemouth so he is suspended. Alexis Sanchez is fit and will be available for selection after suffering from a minor hamstring injury.

PREDICTION

There have been 190 games between the two sides and it is Manchester United who are leading the way with 90 wins while Spurs only have 52 wins while 48 games have ended in a draw. However this does not reflect the current status of the teams as Tottenham look to be a much better and composed side right now. They are in form and they will be playing at home with most of their players making every opportunity count. I am predicting a score of 2-1 in favour of Tottenham Hotspur.
