The African nation qualifying games are still on. Nigeria's super eagle is set to clash against two formidable opponents; Benin Republic and Lesotho respectively. As preparation heightens, the head coach draws a list of foreign-based players who among them is the currently in-form Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho.

As the players are gradually arriving, there was an initial growing concern as Iheanacho could not join the rest of the team earlier due to delays in his flight schedule. However, the Nigerian national team receives a boost with the eventual arrival of the Leicester City professional this morning.
