Problems continue to compound for Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool team as defender Joe Gomez went out injured in training whilst on international duty with the three lions to what is believed to be a knee injury. He adds to the growing list of injured players in Liverpool's first team squad. Virgil van Djik, Fabinho and Alexander Arnold have all been out injured which has already left the coach with a very thin squad.

The latest injury to Joe Gomez leaves Jurgen Klopp with only one senior center back in Joel Matip and the coach would be desperate to keep him fit for the games as football heads into the winter. Youngster Rhys Williams have put in some commanding displays when given the opportunity but the question remains if he can do that on a consistent basis while while the more established players are out injured.

It hasn't been confirmed how long the defender would be out and if the injury would require surgery but it is sure to to have some level of impact on how the team would approach games in the coming weeks.
