Chelsea and Sevilla became the first two teams to qualify for the champions league round of 16 after both teams won their game by two goals to one against Rennes and Krasnodar.
Both teams had initially played a draw when they squared up in match day one, after that, both teams won their next three games which meant they both had ten points after three wins and a draw each.
Chelsea defeated Rennes in France thanks to a late winner by subtitute Olivier Giroud who nodded home after Timo Werner missed a glorious opportunity.
Sevilla also had to labor until the closing stages of the game to get a winner from Munir Elhadadi.
Both teams have two more games to play to determine who the outright group winner would be.
