Leicester city are top of the premier league going into the international break and while this shouldn't be regarded as anything new, what fans might find rather bizarre is Real Sociedad's position as league leaders in the Spanish top flight as teams head into the international week.

After enjoying a fantastic start to the beginning of last season before their capitulation towards the end due to injuries to key players, Leicester again are leading the title charge in England and find themselves at the summit of the table thanks to some impressive wins and the form of experienced striker Jamie Vardy. Despite absence of key players such as Wilfred Ndidi and Ricardo Pereira due to injuries, the foxes have been able to enjoy a fine start and would be hoping the fortunes they found in 2016 happens again for them to clinch a league title for the second time in five years.

While Leicester might not be new to their current league position, sane can't be said of Spanish side Real Sociedad who have impressed since the beginning of the season with some great performances. Inspired by veteran midfielder David Silva, the club have been able to win win of their first nine games drawing two and losing just one.

Will these two clubs be able to clinch the league titles in their respective leagues would be something lots of fans and pundits would be looking forward to as the season continues to unfold.
