Manchester United's left full back Luke Shaw has suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to be out for about four to six weeks club sources have confirmed.

The defender came off during his teams game against Everton in Saturday after playing for more than an hour of the game before he was replaced by Axel Tuanzebe.

Luke Shaw provided the assist for his team's equalizer in the game which they went on to win by three goals to one. He has been one of the better players for his side as the team are experiencing a slow start to this season's campaign.

After the game, manager Solksjaer complained about fixture congestion taking its toll on the players. United are fortunate new signing Alex Telles is back training after contracting the covid virus and is currently with the Brazilian team for the international fixtures.
