Cristiano Ronaldo has not been included in Juventus squad for Saturday's serie a trip to Benevento coach Andre Pirlo has confirmed. The coach made it clear that the deision to leave the player out of the squad was for him to get enough rest and not because of injuries or other reasons.
Ronaldo played eight matches in November including all three of Portugal's games during the international break as captain.
It is also believed that Pirlo has his eyes set on Juventus game against Dynamo Kyiv in the champions league as his team seek qualification to the next round of the competition.
They have also been boosted by the return of defender Bonucci to the squad after he has been absent through injury.
