World champions France lost to Scandinavian side Finland by two goals to nil in an international friendly. Despite the likes of Paul Pogba and Olivier Giroud starting for the Les blue, they couldn't help the world champions from what turned out to be an embarrassing defeat.
The finish side scored from their only two shots on target through out the game while dominating the game in terms of possession. Despite the French side firing fifteen shots, only three of those were on target.
Despite the French manager introducing Anthony Martial and Antoine Griezmann to inject pace to the French attack, both strikers weren't able to get a goal as the finish defenders kept them at bay all through ninety minutes.
Up next for the world champions is a mouth watering encounter against the European champions Portugal in the UEFA nations league on Saturday.
