UEFA named Roma forward Edin Dzeko the Player of the Week in the Champions League

As his team beat CSKA Moscow 3-0, the 32-year-old Bosnian put on an impressive performance, scoring two goals and making an assist.

Other nominees for the award were Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Manchester City's David Silva as well as Borussia Dortmund's Achraf Hakimi.

In the Matchdays 1 and 2 of the tournament, Barcelona star Lionel Messi was named Player of the Week, but now he had to miss the game with Inter due to an injury.
