While Real Madrid are getting closer ro signing Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea, Keylor Navas is not going to give up his place in the starting line-up.

The 31-year-old Costa-Rican moved to Madrid from Levante in 2014 and has established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper since then.

In case Courtois completes his transfer, Navas' position will be under threat. Zinedine Zidane, who was his great supporter, has now left Real, as so has the goalkeeping coach Luiz Llopis.

However, Keylor intends to stay in Madrid and compete with the Belgian for the place in goal. His contract runs until 2020, and despite the interest from other clubs, the Costa Rican does not want to leave the team with who he has won the Champions League three times.
