Real Madrid have sent a letter to the Spanish football federation, where the club protested against playing La Liga matches overseas.

The federation plans to organise a game between Barcelona and Girona in January in Miami. However, the club from the Spanish capital thinks that it should not be done.

"Real Madrid cannot agree to playing even one La Liga match on a neutral territory," says the letter.

Instead, Real suggests that the La Liga games should be broadcast on central Spanish TV channels, which would increase the interest to these matches.
