It’s Monday, so that means that we all have a long week ahead of us. A good reason to post some fun-stuff that I hope will cheer you guys and girls up, in this next episode of players with bizarre rituals.

Lets start off with Cesc Fàbregas who has a strange habit of kissing his ring, right before he gets onto the pitch. He once mentioned in an interview that he started doing this some years ago and it became sort of a ritual before every match. The ring who was given to him by his wife, needs to be kissed exactly 4 times, because 4 is his lucky number and of course that is also the number on his shirt.

Belgian goali Thibaut Courtois has his own very special way of pleasing the gods of luck. Prior to the start of a match, he first kicks against the left post, then the right post and then jumps up to slaps against the cross-bar.

He also appear to have a very itch chin as you can see on this video:

His colleague goalkeeper Roman Bürki has a different way of prepping himself for the match. He has the urge of holding the ball in his hands right before the referee starts the game. This sometimes results in hilarious situation as you can see in this video:

The ritual of Karim Benzema might be even more freaky. After tying his shoe laces, he needs the team physiotherapist to touch both his shoes before he gets onto the pitch. He also performs this ritual before a normal training session:
