“WEAK MEN WAIT FOR OPPORTUNITIES, STRONG MEN MAKE THEM”.

The UEFA champions league yesterday matches were celebrated in grand style by both Chelsea, Liverpool and others respectively.

LIVERPOOL VS RED BULL:-

Liverpool, almost losing from the pride of winning Red Bull, struggled to win with the help of Mohammed Salah seized the moment with a 4-3 win at home. It is now clear that they are still in the tournament. If they had lost or drawn that match, it would have been tragic for Klopp and his boys. All thanks to Mohammed Salah who gave them a breath of relief at the 69th minute into the game. It was a goal-fest for bettors. What’s so amazing about the game between the two sides is that they had the same total shots and shots on target. The slight difference is that Liverpool converted 4 out of the 5 to be at the top of the game.

POLISHED DISPLAYs:-

Sadio Mane has always been a bug in the ass to goal keepers when it comes to goal scoring both in the EPL and UEFA Champions League respectively. He did that again in the 9th minute of the game with a fine finish from Firmino. Robertson also never relented with a close range finish in the 25th minute. Salah 11 minutes after Robertson’s, did finesse with firmino’s saved heading. Salzburg’s Hee-Chan made a remarkable come back with a fierce strike seven minutes before the end of half time.

LITTLE FACT:-

Since the beginning of the 2017/2018 Champions league, 47 goals have been scored at Anfield more than any other venue.

Following the restart, Salzburg came on again to level the score line through Minamino and Haaland respectively. Finally it was all three points to the home side. Currently the Red’s are second in the Group E table.

CHELSEA VS LILLE; duo time goals:-

This some persons may not notice; Tammy Abraham scored the first goal and his first in the League at exactly 22 minutes, Victor Osimhen at the 33 minute and finally Willian at the 77 minute. Goals of double time. Another amazing thing about this game also is that both teams had the same shots on target. “What the heck is wrong in the timing and analysis?” Though still 3rd in the group stage, Chelsea has had a good head start for the remaining four matches. Though they lost their first match against Valencia at Stamford Bridge, their luck caught up with them yesterday when the secured their first three points against Lille with a 2-1 win.

The Blues had to play the same formation they played against Valencia in their first meeting this season which was like a defensive formation 3-4-2-1, but this time it favored them.

LITTLE INSIGHT:-

The visitors have ended a run of four games which was winless in the Champions League ever since November 2017. A 4-0 wins against Qarabag.
Out of 68 games that Lampard has managed amid Chelsea and Derby County, in every competition his side has held in reserve only 22% clean sheets. That is 15 out of 68.

So, Lampard is beginning to be a lamp on the Bridge. Hope he continues to shine for the blues.
