SOCCER, THE GATE OF HAPPINESS.

Before I proceed, @liuke96player, I want to appreciate you for your opportunities. One thing I know is this, every time I participate in contests, Am not totally going for the rewards because Popular Badminton International player Lee Chong Wei said;

So I don't wish to always win though, but thanks for the opportunity cos we learn from these contests.

THE WAY I SEE SOCCER:-

I may not know much about the history of soccer, but one thing I know is that it brings harmony, happiness,sadness,joy,hatred,unity,celebration and altogether rewards the footballers, bettors, and we here on Scorum.

I am a Nigerian, and when you come down here there is no other sport popularly participated in, watched and enjoyed than soccer. It can also be called football, thats what we call it down here. NOW LET ME TELL YOU A STORY OF WHAT SOCCER MEANS DOWN HERE.

MY MOM called me one day after we watched a football match between Nigeria and Argentina. She said thus; am not surprised why you sometimes quite food because of soccer. in the year 1996 during the soccer Olympics final between Nigeria and Argentina, then you were still in the womb kicking. I trekked about 22 miles, after Nigeria won Argentina in the final. We were all jubilating she said, everyone was filled with happiness. Joy filled the air. We were chanting a chorus( winner ooooo, winner, winner we don win oo, Nigeria we go win again o winner) in our local pidgin dialect. I was listening with my mouth open then i asked her; you mean you trekked 22 miles not minding your condition?

OMG, i felt bemused, imagine me in the womb and she trekked 22 miles. Thats terrible.

Now SOCCER in an illustration is like a country, the country has many states, the STATES are the CLUBS, each state has its Head, down here we call them (Governors) and they are the COACHES. when a competition is fixed every club brings out its best. They want to win, but we all can not win, thats the simple definition of VICTORY.

Even the disabled play soccer, with Joy, happiness and self discipline.

WHAT SOCCER HAS DONE RIGHT?

LOOK AT THESE TWO PICTURES BELOW;

What do you see?, a frowned face and a smiling one right? yes thats what soccer can do. The man in two pictures, we all know him, PELE. We know his story, Soccer can change you from wretchedness to riches, if you believe so and work-hard. Another good example is Cristiano ronaldo, he was not born with a Golden or Silver spoon, he worked hard to achieve his level today and soccer(football) paid him back for his hard-work. The same is applicable to uprising super stars in soccer.

We experience soccer in our daily life. How? may be the question; now when we feel happy for something thats when we scored and won. When we feel sad, thats when we lost.

Soccer is like family; Father is the Coach, Mother is the Assistant coach, while the kids are the players, then friends and families are our rivals and fans.

Soccer has done more good to us than harm.

In soccer, players get injuries, some injuries that might cost them their career.

We feel their pains as fans. We show them love and care, and thats what soccer is about,LOVE.

So when liuke96player organized this contest and i started punching my keys, tears flowed my cheek, why, Soccer has done great things, it creates moments of happiness, moments of sadness. When some persons plays bet, and it fails they feel sad, some go to the extent of hating the club that spoilt their ticket. So to all, the lovers of soccer, lets assembly to the gate of HAPPINESS, THAT'S WHAT SOCCER IS.
