SHORT BIOGRAPHY.
Lucas Sebastián Torreira Di Pascua, is an Uruguayan professional footballer. He was born on the 11th of February, 1996 in Fray Bentos, Uruguay to the family of Viviana Di Pascua and Ricardo Torreira from Spanish, Uruguay.
Barely a teenager, he left for the thronging city of Montevideo, where he joined the youth team of Peñarol with the dream of getting a professional contract.

Giampaolo was overemphasising, of course, but Arsenal were not the only admirers of Torreira. He has proved himself to be one of the best deep-lying midfielders in Serie A succeeding his second-tier side Pescara some years earlier.
Napoli and Inter Milan had interest in him before he completed his £26m move to Arsenal. And still it could have been a different story.
