The 37-year-old Yaya Toure dreams of becoming a coach when he stops as a football player in the foreseeable future.
- It's hard to drop football. Maybe my legs have a year more in them, but I have started to realize how exciting it is to be a coach, says the Ivorian.
Yaya Toure has been clubless since last winter, when he was torn from his contract with Chinese club Qingdao Huanghai due to the corona epidemic. But the idea of a future as a coach arose already in the Manchester City era, where he played in the period 2010-2018.
The African world star has already started sniffing for the coaching job. Among other things, he has been associated with QPR in the Championship, where he has been allowed to do training sessions with some of the youth players, while he has also observed how the club's other coaches make the players perform.
