It's official now. The European Championship of 2024 will be held in Germany. With 18 years of distance from the 2006 World Cup another major football event will take place in teutonic land. Germany won the battle with Turkey competing with the Germans for the development of Euro 2024. UEFA president Alexander Ceferin's vote in Nyon smiled at Germany receiving more votes than Turkey by giving another slap to Turkish President Rexhep Taip Erdogan, given the fact that political relations between the two countries are aggravated.
